CALGB Trial for Colorectal Cancer (C80405)
Qualifications
For patients 18 & older who have been diagnosed with either locally advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer.
Patients may be eligible if 4 weeks have passed since their major surgery & they have not yet started treatment for this cancer.
CALGB Trial Goals/Protocol
The doctor and patient will decide if their chemotherapy will include FOLFOX or FOLFIRI
Patients are then randomized to one of 2 arms:
- Avastin then FOLFOX or FOLFIRI
- Erbitux then FOLFOLX or FOLFIRI
